Not only do we all learn lessons in style and character development from perusing other writers' work, stories we read quite often spark memories of our own that have been fermenting below consciousness and are just waiting to be let out.<BR/><BR/>Whether it is spinning a good yarn in a fiction tale, reminiscing past experiences, exploring spiritual issues or reporting facts - the craft of using words to build a picture for others is collaborative by nature. What we write is influenced by others in so many ways - both in how other people have influenced our own perspectives and in how we anticipate the mindset of our audience when we begin to shape the words. It's an interesting dance.<BR/><BR/>Happy reading.
